JPK VAT

The process of generating the JPK_VAT file in Oracle NetSuite starts with the installation and configuration of the module in accordance with tax requirements. The system then automatically creates the JPK_VAT file based on recorded transactions, which can be verified and submitted to the tax office.

1. Initial installation and configuration

  • Once the solution is installed, the system automatically adds a new "PL LOK" tab to PL transaction forms.
  • This tab includes dedicated fields necessary for the correct classification of transactions for JPK_VAT.

Data verification and editing

  • The system presents a preliminary preview of the data, where changes can be made in the visible fields
  • The user can verify the correctness of the information in an Excel file
  • If necessary, any required corrections can be made
  • After verification, the user saves the JPK_VAT screen

Legal basis

JPK_VAT, which includes both the declarative and registry sections, is mandatory for all taxpayers registered as active VAT taxpayers for periods starting from October 1, 2020, based on Article 193a of the Tax Ordinance and the Act of July 4, 2019, amending the Law on Goods and Services Tax and other acts (Journal of Laws 2019, item 1520).

  • The user downloads the generated XML file
  • The user logs in to the Ministry of Finance gateway and submits the file following the Ministry’s procedures
  • The downloaded UPO can be attached to the generated JPK KR in NetSuite in PDF format

Legal basis

JPK_KR includes summaries of trial balances, journals, and account records in the general ledger and subsidiary books. It has been mandatory since July 1, 2016, and in its revised form since January 1, 2023. It is submitted upon request of the tax authority under Article 193a § 1 of the Tax Ordinance.

JPK MAG

  • The user downloads the generated XML file
  • The user logs in to the official gateway of the Ministry of Finance and sends the downloaded file according to the procedures specified by the Ministry
  • The downloaded UPO can be attached to the generated JPK KR in NetSuite in PDF format

Legal basis

JPK_MAG reflects the movement of inventory of tangible current assets (increases, decreases, transfers – PZ, WZ, RW, MM). It is submitted upon request of the tax authority and has been in effect since July 1, 2016. The scope of required information is based on Article 21 of the Accounting Act and relevant tax laws.

Legal basis

JPK_PD is a reporting structure requiring taxpayers to maintain accounting records exclusively in electronic form. It takes effect on January 1, 2025, and obliges taxpayers to submit structured data together with their annual tax return without prior request from tax authorities, based on Article 193a § 1 and Article 9 of the Tax Ordinance.
